FULLY SUPPORTED CYCLING CHALLENGES

FOOD

If you’re a dedicated cyclist, it goes without saying that you take nutrition very seriously. We’ve gone to great lengths to ensure that you’ll get all the nourishment you’ll need to ride long distances each day and keep healthy. Here’s the kind of food we usually provide:

Breakfasts: traditional Continental breakfasts with extra cereals, yoghurts, fruit, eggs, cold meats and cheeses to keep you going all morning.

Lunches: bread, cheeses, cold meats, cereal bars, pasta, soup, fresh fruit, dried fruit, nuts, crackers, crisps (chips), chocolate, peanut butter, Nutella, honey and anything else we can think of. There will also be Coke, soft drinks and fruit juice in the van at all times, as well as plenty of bottled water.

Dinners: all three courses or more. Usually pasta as a starter and then a main course with fish, meat or poultry, depending on the region we’re in. We try to include as many local specialities as we can. We include table wine and water.

Snacks: we pack the van with food for snacks and lunches in the morning and then you just help yourself througout the day; we don’t ration food or drink at all - if you need it, it's yours. Whenever we pass you we'll make sure you see us and if you want anything, just wave and we'll pull over. We also carry a tub of High5 energy drink for anyone who needs it, together with a supply of good quality energy bars.
